Chelsea omit Cole Palmer from UEFA Conference League squad amidst star-studded lineup.
The Blues have left out Cole Palmer from their 29-man squad for the UEFA Conference League group stages.
Palmer who played a crucial role in the Euro 2024 final, will not be part of the team’s journey in the third-tier European competition.
He is not the only notable absence, as centre-back Wesley Fofana and central midfielder Romeo Lavia have also been omitted from the squad.
On the other hand, the likes of Pedro Neto, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Jadon Sancho have made the cut.
Chelsea’s squad will face a challenging group stage, with matches against Gent, Panathinaikos, Noah, Heidenheim, Astana, and Shamrock Rovers.
