Manchester City star Rodri has reportedly been ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining a serious knee injury in the match against Arsenal, according to sources.
The reports on Monday revealed that the midfielder suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in his right knee during the intense title clash at the Etihad Stadium.
The injury occurred in the opening minutes of the game during a City corner, where Rodri was marked by Thomas Partey.
As they jostled for position, Rodri appeared to jar his knee on the turf, falling in agony.

Despite receiving on-pitch treatment, Rodri had to be substituted in the 20th minute, leaving the field with assistance as he hobbled off.
Initial medical tests have indicated an ACL rupture, with further assessments scheduled to take place in Spain to confirm the severity.
However, it is widely feared that Rodri will miss the remainder of the season.
Rodri’s career has been remarkably injury-free until now, with the Spanish international having previously missed only eight games due to fitness issues for club and country.
