Christian Pulisic Suffers Another Injury In AC Milan’s Victory Over Como

Christian Pulisic injured Ac Milan vs Como

AC Milan midfielder Christian Pulisic faces another injury setback after limping off during the team’s 2-1 win against Como in Serie A on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old, who recently returned from a torn right calf muscle, appeared to injure his left calf and pointed to his thigh following a collision with Como defender Marc-Oliver Kempf shortly before halftime.

Milan’s medical staff attended to Pulisic on the field before he was substituted. Although he managed to leave the pitch unaided, his availability for Saturday’s crucial clash against Juventus is now in doubt.

Milan Boss Highlights Fitness Concerns

Following the match, Milan head coach Sergio Conceição expressed concerns about his team’s physical readiness.

We need to improve in our fitness levels because intensity is vital for my style of football, and at this moment, we are missing something,” he said.

Pulisic’s injury comes at an unfortunate time for Milan. The midfielder, who missed most of December with a previous calf injury, had made an impactful return, scoring in both the semifinal and final of the Italian Super Cup.

Stellar Start to the Season

Despite his injury struggles, Pulisic has been one of Milan’s standout performers this season. With five goals and four assists in Serie A, he is tied for the team’s best in both categories.

His absence would be a significant blow as Milan looks to maintain their push for the Serie A title.

Milan’s Victory Against Como

Milan secured victory over Como thanks to second-half goals from defender Theo Hernández and forward Rafael Leão.

The win keeps Milan firmly in the hunt for the top spots in Serie A, but the potential loss of Pulisic could pose challenges for their upcoming fixtures, starting with the high-stakes showdown against Juventus.

What’s Next for Pulisic?

As fans await updates on Pulisic’s condition, his fitness will be crucial for Milan’s aspirations this season.

The midfielder’s contributions have been vital, and his ability to stay healthy will likely determine the success of both his individual campaign and Milan’s overall ambitions.

For now, Milan will hope Pulisic’s injury is not as serious as it initially appeared, with the team bracing for a pivotal period in their season.
