Pep Guardiola Hails ‘Unstoppable’ Erling Haaland After Record-Breaking Hat Trick
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has praised Erling Haaland after the Norwegian striker scored his second consecutive hat trick, setting a new Premier League record for most goals through three games of a season.
Haaland’s latest treble, which included a sublime finish and a thunderbolt, took his tally to seven goals this season and earned City a 3-1 victory at West Ham.
The 24-year-old’s incredible form has left Guardiola in awe, with the City boss believing that defenders are powerless to stop him, even with extreme measures.
Guardiola revealed that Haaland had struggled with niggles last season, but is now an even more devastating player after a rest.
The Norwegian’s 70th Premier League goal in just 69 games is a testament to his remarkable talent and dedication.
With Haaland in this form, City look unstoppable, and the rest of the Premier League has been put on notice.

Guardiola told reporters.
“The first goal, Bernardo wins the ball, pass the ball and finish or the third goal, with the space behind, it’s unstoppable.”
“There is no central defender, not even with a gun — it’s impossible, so fast, so powerful.”
“I feel good, I feel energised,” he told Sky Sports. “I had a long vacation and preseason. I feel good.
“The years I’ve been here have been really fast. Now I’ve got some rest in my body and my feet. Now I’m ready for more.”
Haaland’s achievement also saw him become only the second player in Premier League history, alongside Harry Kane, to score hat tricks in consecutive games twice.
