Chelsea secured a commanding 5-0 victory over League Two side Barrow in the Carabao Cup third round, with Enzo Maresca’s heavily rotated lineup impressing at Stamford Bridge.
Christopher Nkunku stole the show with a hat-trick, while Joao Felix and Malo Gusto provided notable assists.
The French forward opened the scoring with an excellent volley past Paul Farman, courtesy of Felix’s precise pass.
Nkunku doubled the lead moments later, expertly flicking the ball past Farman after being found by Gusto.

Barrow’s woes continued as Farman scored an own goal, with Felix’s free-kick hitting the post and rebounding off the goalkeeper’s back.
Pedro Neto added to the tally early in the second half, converting Mykhailo Mudryk‘s pinpoint cross.
Nkunku sealed his hat-trick on 75 minutes, capitalizing on Farman’s mistake and stroking the ball into an empty net.
Felix was unlucky not to score, hitting the inside of the post with a free-kick.
Maresca’s 11 changes did not disrupt Chelsea’s rhythm, as the team’s fringe players seized their opportunity to shine.
The victory sets up a fourth-round clash, with Chelsea seeking to build momentum in the competition.
