Carabao Cup third-round draw is out! Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and holders Liverpool learned their opponents.
The 7 European-competing clubs advanced automatically, while 13 other Premier League teams played in the second round.
Liverpool, last year’s winners under Jurgen Klopp, will face West Ham in the third round under new manager Arne Slot.
West Ham progressed to the third round after scoring a late winner in their second-round clash against Bournemouth at the London Stadium.
In another all-Premier League third-round tie, Everton play host to Southampton.
Premier League champions Manchester City will take on Watford, while Arsenal will host League One side Bolton.
Elsewhere, Barnsley from League One will travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United, and League Two underdogs Barrow will have a challenging visit to Stamford Bridge to play against Chelsea.
Wimbledon pulled off one of the tournament’s biggest surprises on Wednesday night, defeating newly-promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town on penalties.
Their reward is a home match against another Premier League team, Newcastle United, who also advanced on penalties after a tough match with Nottingham Forest.
