Raheem Sterling set to hit the ground running at Arsenal.

Fresh from his deadline-day loan move from Chelsea, Raheem Sterling is poised to dive straight into training at Arsenal on Monday.

The 29-year-old winger is determined to make the most of the two-week international break, working closely with manager Mikel Arteta to ensure he’s ready for the highly anticipated north London derby against Tottenham.

Sterling, who hasn’t played competitive football since pre-season, recognizes the importance of maximizing this period.

He plans to immerse himself in Arsenal’s tactics and patterns of play, drawing on his prior experience with Arteta at Manchester City.

To maintain his fitness levels, Sterling has been training with performance coach Ben Rosenblatt, who previously served as England’s lead physical performance coach.

While their off-season sessions have kept him sharp, Sterling is now eager to intensify his training under Arteta’s guidance.

Arteta said:

“We’ll have to see and speak to him on what he’s been doing and how he’s feeling about it.”

“We have to try to find quick wins to get him up to speed as quick as possible and him understanding what we are looking for from him and the dynamics of the team.

“We will use this time to do that and as soon as possible, get him involved.”

With the Tottenham showdown looming, Arteta is equally keen to get Sterling up to speed.

The next fortnight will be crucial in preparing the winger for his Arsenal debut, and both parties are committed to making it a success.
